- Wrote the Wall & Floor Tiling Trade Course Syllabus for TAFE NSW 1984, oversaw 2 major syllabus re-writes 1991 & 1996 and the introduction of "Training Packages"
- Wrote and implemented the Tiling and Waterproofing curricula for TAFE NSW from the National Training Packages starting in 2002
- Established the Industry Skills List (Dacum profile) for Wall & Floor Tilers for the Building & Construction Industry Training Council of NSW (1991)
- Current member, Standards Australia Committee BD-44, which developed the Australian Standard on Ceramic Tiling. (AS 3958 parts 1 & 2.) Also a current member of Standards Australia Committees on Ceramic Tile Adhesives, (BD-44/3) & Natural & Re-constituted Stone Tile Installation (BD-44/4)
- Current member of Standards Australia committee BD/38 on "Waterproofing of wet areas within residential buildings." (AS 3740)
- Developed, designed and conducted skills assessments for the issuing of the Gold License in Wall and Floor Tiling for the Building Industry Skills Centre and the Building Services Corporation of N.S.W. [now Office of Fair Trading] (1992)
- Wrote & delivered papers on Tilefixer Training, Quality Control of Tiling, and Australian Standards on Ceramic Tiling and Waterproofing at conferences including;

- Delivered seminars on tiling, natural stone, waterproofing and slip resistance of pedestrian surfaces to major construction corporations including; Leighton Contractors, Walter Constructions, Steve Watson & Partners & Cox Richardson Architects
- Delivered State and Inter-State seminars for the NSW Master Builders Association
- Author of articles published in Tile Today magazine 1996 to 2006, and member of the editorial advisory board of "Tile Today" & "Discovering Stone" magazines
- Appeared as an expert witness in litigation over tiling disputes in Consumer Tenancy and Trading Tribunals, and the NSW Local, District and Supreme Courts
